Here is the fog photos I tried to post in the last post from Gulfport, MS winter of 1980.
I tried to spin these around but it didn't do it, that is how it got out of the last post. The second picture is really a picture taken of the same pier on the two sides, I just cut them out with scissors and made it into a point like that. It makes me look like I as in the water taking the shot. The base was only a couple of miles from the beach which was somewhat a tourist area, but not as much as down the beach highway 18 miles to -humm, I can't think of the name right now. There was an Air force base down there too. I was in Gulfport 3 times for 6 months at a time. We just home ported there to train for the next deployment overseas to build something. The deployments were 8 months long and considered temporary duty. If you were married, you did not get paid for expenses to bring your family with you. I never heard of anyone taking family members with them on deployment, it is just not affordable. That is all I have for now. I feel like I need a rest for some reason.
